A bottomless portafilter is great for analysing your shot. Does your espresso run faster on one side, or does it start to spray? But to really see that, I (Jasper) often ended up hanging upside down next to my machine.

You can place this espresso shot mirror anywhere on your machine. Turn it until you've found the perfect angle, and you'll see your extraction in full detail.

Now I can finally watch my extraction without bending down. Is it really necessary? Honestly, not really. But it makes life a lot easier, the view is great and your lower back will thank you.

Designed for home baristas
